It’s finally here!!
I hope you all remember I illustrated a children’s book a little while back. Well, it was for a company that does books for kids where they can customize the main character to be any child (meaning you can change hair type, skin colour, etc.). I’ve been waiting a while for the site to be finished, and now it is finally up! So go there. The address is:

“Daily” compositions…
I would like to start doing little sketches like this everyday…I doubt that will happen, but it’s a nice thought. Maybe I should try to aim for two or three a week, first. This is not a great picture, but it’s helped me do things I can’t do by just drawing individual bodies on a page, like I normally do. It gives me a chance to do action posing, work on backgrounds, write little one picture stories, focus on composition, staging, etc. I’m hoping that this is just the very rough beginning of something that will help me grow as an artist.

More from the park…
Some more work from the park. These past two shifts have been better than my past two months working caricatures. First off, I’ve actually had shifts two days in a row. Second, there have been more people actually sitting, letting me draw them. I like to believe it’s because I have improved so much, but it’s likely just because schools are out, and the summer rush is now starting. Meaning they’ll buy any art, regardless of how bad it is. Oh well, more money for me!
